About Me

IMG_6105.jpg

My name is Lauren Laquidari and I am a current senior at CNS High School. I am very passionate about many things in my life and I am always determined to do something when I put my mind to it. I have recently committed to SUNY Cortland with a major in exercise science and I am continuing to do gymnastics with the Cortland club gymnastics team. Having 12 years of gymnastics experience, 2 years with a year-round job, 1 seasonal job, and volunteering the beginning of my senior year, I have learned how to balance my work and personal life. Since I always had so much going on in my life with all of my extra curricular activies, I found myself with determination in everything I do. Growing up with challenging experiences has helped make me into the person I am today and hope to continue to be.

My Inspiration

Passion makes perfect. From a young age, I have always been passionate about everything I do. Ranging from schoolwork, to gymnastics, and plenty of other sports. Gymnastics was the main reason I chose to go to SUNY Cortland and study their exercise science program. Growing up being a gymnast can be extremely hard on your body and I want my future to be based on helping a team with their injuries or being there for the athletes as an assistant coach. I grew up having everyday anxiety, along with anxiety in the training gym, and I want to be there to help other athletes achieve the same dream I had and make sure nothing is there to hold them back.
